Who we are
Hardware City Trading Company, Jiyad Street, Al Faisaliyyah, Riyadh 12881, Saudi Arabia ("we", "us") is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Contact us about privacy at info@hardwarecity.sa.
What we collect
- When you send a quotation request or a message: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, company name (optional), customer type, the items and quantities you ask about, and your message.
- To protect our forms from abuse: a one-way coded version of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address, and the time of your request.
- Your language choice: a cookie that remembers whether you use the Arabic or English site.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation (this is necessary to provide the service you asked for)
- To follow up on that quotation by the contact method you chose
- To keep the website secure and stop spam
We ask for your consent on each form before you send it. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that run the website for us: website hosting, the database and the email service that delivers enquiry notifications. Some of these providers store data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We use them only to provide this service, with appropriate safeguards under the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations on transfers outside the Kingdom.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and quotations for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, tax records for completed sales).
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- delete data we no longer need
- stop using your data where you withdraw consent
Email info@hardwarecity.sa and we will reply within the period the law sets. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
